Abstract: |
Durian is one of the most popular tropical fruit trees, however, it is (still) categorized as an underutilized fruit tree species, as its potential contribution to market is not fully exploited. There are three factors that could limit fruit productions, namely basic characters of trees (such as crown position, crown form, and stem diameter; management system at plot level ; and climate anomaly (such as high precipitation) at landscape level. Data showed that different fruit tree spesices has different capability on responding to high precipitation, which suggests a mixed system of fruit trees species may have better sustainable productivity. |
